Dhaka to Sundarban Visit - 4 Days / 5 Nights

The Sundarbans is the largest single block of tidal halophytic mangrove forest in the world. The name Sundarban can be literally translated as "beautiful jungle" or "beautiful forest" in the Bengali language (Shundor, "beautiful" and bon, "forest" or "jungle").
The Sundarban forest lies in the vast delta on the Bay of Bengal formed by the super confluence of the Padma, Brahmaputra and Meghna rivers across Saiyan southern Bangladesh.

Dhaka to Sylhet - Sreemongol Tour

We went to Sylhet and Sreemongol in the month of March 2011. It was a 3 Nights / 4 Days tour. We covered almost all the parts of Sylhet and Sreemongol which are easy going for every family.

Day 1:
We started from Dhaka for Sylhet by bus at 5pm. We had a break during the journey for 20 mins and reached destination at almost 11:30 pm. Check-in the hotel, had our dinner and then a sound sleep.
Day 2:
At around 6 am, we wake up and had our breakfast. Hotel restaurant was not open at that time, but I communicated with the manager and made the arrangement. At 7 am, the tour car, an X-corolla AC car, came at the hotel door to pick us for sight seeing. We contacted with him from Dhaka.
We reached at Lala Khal Point. From there, we took a boat and went to the Lala Khal Tea Garden. It was awesome feeling when we were boating on the green water. We rached our point, had some walk, saw the young boys playing football. We came back from there at around 12:30 PM. Then we got inside the car and started for Jaflong. By this time, we had some snacks at a roadside hotel.
We visited by rickshaw, went to the Khasya Palli, the zero point - Bangladesh India border bridge at Jaflong. At 3:30 PM, we started for our hotel from there.
In that way, we took a break at Tamabil Border point and then Jayantapur Resort. This resort area is a nice one. Here we saw a village home noted as "LAST HOUSE OF BANGLADESH". Infact, here we saw the border line. There were some waterfalls from the hills which were awesome. We took our lunch and it was almost 4 pm. But the food was good.
Then we started again and reached at Najimgar Resort. We visited the place and at around 6 pm, we reached our hotel.  The car driver left us with a smile. We took shower, got some food and became with full of energy again.
At 8:30 pm, we started our journey by rickshaw to Rail Station for a visit. We arranged the train ticket for Sreemongol earlier. Returning to hotel by rickshaw, we visited Hazrat Shahjalal Masjid.
Had our dinner and then a sound sleep. Completed an eventful day.
Day 3:
At 7:30 am, we started our journey by taxi for Rail Station. We got our seat. It was good one.
After 2:30 hours journey. We reached at 11:30 am at Sreemongiol. Got a rickshaw for the Tea Resort Banglow.  We found it awesome, traveling in the calm hilly area. We rached after 45 minutes journey. Then we entered into the prestigious bunglow room where we got a swimming pool infront of our room. There we saw a British old man, who came there from Chittagong after 16 hours journey. He was shouting for his room and we came to know that his hotel from Chittagong communicated with the bunglow manager for a room and they confirmed, but now he was not getting it. However, we came into play there to save our country's pride and the matter solved. He got a cottage instead of a room.
After solving these, we went out by rickshaw for lunch. It was a nice restaurant where we had our lunch. Then we fixed a rickshaw puller to help us to visit the town. He took us everywhere including Nilkantha 7-layer tea cabin, inside the tea garden, monipuri market, tea research center and even at his home. He was a good person.
At around 6 pm we returned to hotel, had some refreshment and rest. Then we call a taxi for ging out for the dinner. We went to the restaurant where we had our lunch. Again, they server us with tasty dinner. Back to hotel and sound sleep again.
Day 4:
We started at 8 am for Madhabpur Lake. We went into the tea state of Bangladesh. It was tea plantation all around us and we were running with our taxi. We reached at around 10 am. Visited the place for 45 mins. It was wonderful lake surrounded by hills. At 10:45 am, we started journey for "National Forest Area". We walked there for 10 minutes and returned to hotel as we planned to start for Dhaka at 3:30 PM. At around, 2 pm we reached at Sreemongol again and had our lunch and finished the tour by sitting in the bus for Dhaka.
At around 10 pm, we reached at Dhaka.
